The Polkadot NFT Pre-mint Pass

In our previous post, we hinted at a Pre-mint Pass (PMP) that will grant you additional bonuses during the DEGA Polkadot ISPO. These PMP’s will be your ticket to a DEGA NFT!
Did you know that DEGA NFTs actually act as your avatar in the DEGA ecosystem? Did you know they are chock full of additional utility? In this post, we’re going to dig into the PMP and what DEGA NFTs are to show you what we mean.
Introducing the Polkadot Hero PMP.
What does the Polkadot Hero PMP do for you?
During the DEGA Polkadot ISPO | Pre-Mint Pass (PMP) Phase
The Polkadot Hero Pre-Mint Pass will give you bonuses to your rewards in the Polkadot ISPO. If you purchase a Pre-Mint Pass for the Polkadot Hero during the DEGA ISPO, you will be granted a 5% $DEGA token reward bonus per era.
This collection of PMPs will have a bonus that is tied to “chain affinity”, in this case Polkadot.
What does this mean? The Polkadot Affinity Bonus will only apply to rewards gained when staking $DOT to the DEGA Polkadot ISPO. Holding additional PMPs will not increase your bonus. The PMP pass must persistently exist in association with your account per era for the reward to take effect.
As we add more chains to the Multichain ISPO, more heroes will be added with their respective affinities.
After the DEGA ISPO | Preview of Additional Powers
This is when your PMP becomes an actual ON CHAIN DEGA NFT.
Once we complete the ISPO, anyone holding a Pre-Mint pass will be issued a DEGA NFT for each Pre-Mint Pass they have. At mint time, DEGA will apply additional powers to the NFT that will have real effects in the DEGA Ecosystem.
All additional powers will be tied to your level status (SPARK, BURST, FORCE, or SUPERNOVA) in the ISPO.
LOYALTY ATTRIBUTE
In our post about DEGA Token Utility, we broke down quite a few ways you can use DEGA in our ecosystem. Some examples we discussed in the utility blog post were:
- Transaction Fees on DEGA Metachains
- Setting up your own DEGA Validator
- Proof of Stake Delegation
- DEGA Marketplace Purchases
- Payment of DEGA One API fees
- And Much More Utility to Come!!!
What the Loyalty & Reputation Power gives you is a percentage-based discount for any paid utility in the ecosystem. For more information about how your level ties to ecosystem discounts, see Fig 1: Powers Table below.
STRENGTH ATTRIBUTE
This is an attribute that will be applied to your NFT when it’s revealed.
It will range in strength from 0–10. This attribute increases your staking rewards in any future $DEGA token staking. The more DEGA Strength you have, the greater your rewards.
Anyone achieving the SUPERNOVA level in the ISPO, will be granted +1 buff to their DEGA Strength. If you are fortunate enough to mint a maximum rarity DEGA Strength NFT, we will break the limit for you in a spectacular way. For more information about how your level ties to DEGA Strength, see Fig 1: Powers Table below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Stay tuned for additional Powers that we’ll be adding as part of our Play Your Way system. These are NOT the only powers we’ll be adding to DEGA NFTs!
How do I get the Polkadot Hero Pre-Mint Pass?
There are two ways you can acquire a Polkadot Hero Pre-Mint Pass.

PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE ISPO BONUS, YOU MUST PURCHASE THE PRE-MINT PASS WITH THE SAME WALLET THAT IS DELEGATING TO THE VALIDATOR OR POOL!
