Introducing DEGA REALMS | The Map Minter!
Get ready for the next exciting creative experience from DEGA! Introducing DEGA REALMS, a 2D open world game built by YOU that’s supported by the DEGA team and our tools! When we first announced Play Your Way, our dream was to provide our community with an immersive path to greatness using all of the tools that blockchain technology has to offer. We expect DEGA REALMS to fulfill that promise. So let’s get to BUILDING that experience together! Read on!
What’s the first step here?
Well, first we’ll need to build the foundations. We’ll need to build our DEGA plots where we’ll be able to visit each other’s plots and interact. We’re going to do that together with a tool called Tiled. The link here will take you to a tutorial that will instruct you on how to download the toolset and get to creating. Not a big video watcher or like to work in groups? That’s ok too!
To support you, the DEGA team will be holding its first training session during FREAKY FRIDAY, this Friday, SEPT 29. Watch the DEGA X account or keep an eye out for announcements in DISCORD and TELEGRAM! We’ll record the session as well for those of you who can’t make it.
We’ll be officially launching the MAP MINTER on OCTOBER 3rd, so get trained up while you can!
Why do I want to do this now?
Guess what? We’re launching a main component of DEGA architecture as part of DEGA REALMS: Our NFT Minter. Everything you create will be mintable (participating blockchains to be revealed) and therefore owned by YOU. Not only are we making this a mintable experience, but we’re also giving you a heads up on the BIGGEST creative contest ever in DEGA history.
In this contest, we’re offering a staggering prize pool of 300,000 $DEGA to the winners of the contest. We’ll tell you more about the details of the contest as it gets closer.
