Recently, it has been us, the gamers who stand at the forefront of society's pivotal moments, becoming early adopters and beta testers of cutting-edge technology. Working by day and playing by night, we gamers had been treated as outcasts, rebels, and misfits. But that is not the case anymore. Not anymore.

We propose a plan. Tapping into the very nature of gaming enables us to leap into humanity’s next evolutionary step: Decentralization. Imagine this force of nature we call Gaming, but powered by a technology that takes back the power from centralized authorities, sharing this power with players to make all co-exist in balance. Imagine combining the capabilities of decentralized technologies with the reach of gaming communities. Imagine making play to earn, NFTs and Metaverses usable to all gamers and game creators. Imagine owning and using pieces of virtual worlds in new ways that get people together and change society.

Gaming has great potential to change the world. But when doing so, great problems and challenges will arise. To fight against those challenges we are creating DEGA.

At DEGA we are bringing decentralized technology to the masses by tapping into the overlooked niche of gaming. It is true that Web3 is booming, but current solutions fail to scale to the point where a blockchain-based game can actually become successful and viral. Imagine Fortnite, World of Warcraft, or League of Legends running on a Blockchain. It would simply not scale! And that is where we come in to solve this problem.

DEGA is not like the rest. Starting with the fact that DEGA is not even a Blockchain! DEGA is a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) that allows other Blockchains to run and be created when the game’s load requires it. Like servers on the cloud, you don’t know what their load is or how many of them there are, they reliably adjust to the demand. DEGA brings this concept to the WEB3 gaming space by being so flexible that it can adapt to every situation, and so strong that it endures all challenges. DEGA is Antifragile.

We are not another blockchain project that “just works” and comes up with excuses when something takes a long time to load, or does not scale or is not easy enough to use. We are in a quest for excellence. We are hungry for success and we know you are as well! We are aware that strong opinions will be made and discussions will take place, that is what decentralization is all about. We don't take anything personally and are always open to discussion since that is the best way to grow DEGA in a conscious and open-minded way. From top to bottom we are a horizontal tribe, feel free to comment and challenge any decision but be sure to have a good reasoning behind it since we at DEGA are analytical and decisions are data-driven.
